A Human, A Bolian and an Orion.......

Mission: All the Kings Men: Wargames
Location: USS Victory

Elliot walked along the halls of the Victory, War Games may have had a brief recess but the Crew were still treating it as though it was real. He got a few passing mentions of 'Sir' and 'Lieutenant' from a couple of Ensigns and a Crewman Apprentice. It still took time to sink in that he had the promotion.

"Hey mind if I walk with you?" A voice called as it walked beside him. It was Tarlee, the Bolian Lieutenant who ran Gamma Shift. "You alright Keller?"

Elliot nodded. "I'm good thanks Sir." He said politely to the Superior Officer sporting red.

Tarlee chuckled. "Please call me Tarlee, it's a lot easier that way saves using Lieutenant and having a hundred or so faces respond." The Bolian matched his pace with the Diplomatic Officer. "Nervous?" He asked sensing the tension on Kellers face.

"A little, I mean I've been on this Ship since she joined the Gamma Expedition and I've seen a lot of things but for some reason none of that seemed as scary as the thought of this." The young Officer Admitted as the two of them stepped into the Turbolift.

"Going after Rogue Admirals with SFI isn't something they teach you at the Academy." Tarlee said trying to make a joke of the situation. It didn't work and he could still sense the nervousness on Keller. "For what it's worth I felt the same thing when the Captain asked me to run Gamma Shift, bet you didn't know Bolians changed colours."

Elliot couldn't help but chuckle at the last part. "How long have you know the Captain?" He asked.

"Oh wow now let's see then......" Tarlee paused for a second as he thought about it. "He came onto the Normandy in 88 as the XO when I was a Lieutenant Junior Grade, he became the CO in 89 and the Shipwas decommissioned in 91 so all in all about three maybe four years."

Elliot nodded. "This was was my first time serving with him I was surprised when he asked for a Liason Officer."

Tarlee looked at Keller. "You know the Skipper does what he thinks is best, I mean he gave me a Watch on his Ship and approved your promotion."

Keller nodded. "Are we doing the right thing?" He asked Tarlee before the Lift halted.

Tarlee placed a hand on the Lieutenants shoulder. "Only you can answer that, I made my choice because I trust Michaels more than I trust most men I've served under."

The Lift stopped and the two Officers got out and add their way to the Transporter Room. The I,posing figure of a tall Orion with black hair walked behind them. "Hello Sirs."

"Warrant Officer Kilvarn, I take it you are coming with us yes?" Tarlee asked.

Felix nodded. "Gates needs to be brought to heel, I just figured I'd tag along for the moral three men walked only a few paces towards the Transporter Room.

Tarlee looked around. "A Human, a Bolian and and Orion walk into a Turbolift......"
