The Phaser era, 2285

Mission: Shoreleave and Repairs
Location: Operations office.
Timeline: Sometime after the party

Mickey and Aladdin returned to the office. He then turned on the suppressed machine to block out commander cuprum from reading his mind. Mickey had an idea, he was going to work on his old phaser later but make a new one. He then got out the parts and pieces for his new phaser.

Aladdin, grabbed his toolkit with his mouth and handed to mickey. "Thanks boy, here is a treat." Mickey smiled at him as he fed him his treat, Aladdin looked on with happiness.

"This might take awhile boy, these parts right here are for my new Phaser. Besides, i don't like these 24th century wand phasers. I am a classic kind of guy, boy." Mickey spoke to his friend.

"Well, i can't say i don't blame you as we did visit the ship many years ago." Aladdin said from many years ago as they visited her.

"No one needs to know about that. Though i admit our visit to that ship was always the best time, but no one can no about her, but in the words of jean-luc picard. Let's make sure that history never forgets the name Enterprise." Mickey smiled as he began work on the new phaser.

It took a few hours as Aladdin the dog watched and Mickey looked at the instructions to build a customized 2285 era phaser. The parts of his 2270 phaser the year before enterprise was refitted he was going to fix but he wanted something of that era. Because it was his goal as an officer to have a piece of history. Though things are different now, he want something of the old days, that have sentimental value to him.

Mickey was cross connecting the wires onto the type two handle phaser as it was almost ready for it's design, the only thing was he hand to make sure the phaser didn't blow up in the type one cricket mode. "Aladdin, hand me the magnifying glass, there's a few part's i need to sort out before then, because i want to make sure that it doesn't blow up because i am putting in a small regenerative power source inside this phaser so even when it is turned off it can recharge it's power pack on it's own." Mickey said as Aladdin complied and handed it to him nicely. Mickey then was able to see better as he began correcting the wires without blowing it up.

One hour later, mickey was on the type one phaser as if something did go wrong it would blow up the ship. He made sure to carefully wire the thing together, too much antimatter would destroy it. He then finished up the last of the wiring and closed it up. "There it's done." Mickey said as he connected the phaser together and set it for disintegration mode, he fired at a pot in his room as a test subject. He quickly shut off the alarm.

"Successful test." Aladdin said in short.

"Well, I'm not going to blow up anything in my quarter's boy, come on let's go to the holodeck for some target practice" Mickey said as the two left and Mickey grabbed the suppressor machine before leaving.
