Just sitting outside the ship

Mission: Commanding the Elements
Location: The outer hull of the U.S.S. Victory near the dish.
Timeline: Sometime after the meeting

Mickey and Aladdin where outside the ship just enjoying the view of the warp tunnel. He had remember antos called him through the com-link asking him if he was OK and he had been making sure not to let his negativity get to him. He contacted the doctor through his mind outside the ship.

"I'm OK, doc. Aladdin and i are sitting outside the ship just enjoying the view besides before i arrived i had to custom make a dog pressure suit and boots so he doesn't die from it. Besides we're fine. If you want to come outside were at the deflector dish." Mickey said as he called him through his mind.

"ok?" Antos commented as he finished getting all the gear ready. "Outside ME?? I haven't had the need to before?? I don't want to be intruding." Antos said with certainty.

"Bringing the doc in, that's fine. But between you and me Mick, your doing better handling the situation" Aladdin said as he looked at him smiling.

"I know boy, i know. But right now none of that BS. Besides i would rather keep cool. Besides, i don't need to be locked up again. So at least we can sit here and just enjoy the view so let's do that while we wait for our friend." Mickey said as he resumed the view but smiled at Aladdin as well and the two looked at the view.

Antos moved to an airlock area near medical and started to gear up. "I haven't put one of theses things on in a while." Antos was obviously staling a bit. as he placed the gloves on and locked them into place. "Are you sure about this?? I am enough of a pain I don't need to intrude more then I have already and loosing another friendship over something illogical." Antos was still feeling the loss of Bertrands friendship.

Mickey was just sensing the pain Antos was feeling. "All because of me probably i don't know. We cannot let it get us down you have to be stronger then that the person you cared for has come back to you, don't let it go, and don't let Bertrand get the best of you" Mickey said in his mind calling Antos out. "Will be waiting for you at the dish Antos

"It was my stupidity is all! when my heart overrules my brain and mouth!" He thought to Mickey. "Nothing you did...Its all me." as a tear slipped and fell down his cheek. "Ok! I am in the wacky suit! I am heading to the airlock now. as he moved in and sealed the doors behind him. as the lock started to cycle. Antos had a lump in his throat as the other door opened to the blackness of space. As he gingerly stepped out of the airlock as the door closed behind him as Antos activate the gravity boots. as the familiar sound as they shut of and on as he started walking the dark-side of the hull as he focused on where his feet were going and his eyes were on the hull as well making sure he was going the right way. Another time and place this could be kinda romantic. (You might feel his tension and uneasiness of this walk alone.

"Sorry that your going through all this, i just don't know what to do about it" Mickey feels his anguish and pain and uneasiness from all this madness he only wished he knew what to do but he doesn't.

"It will pass its never been easy for me to hurt someone and move on it was especially hard when Trax left and there was no true resolution. "I had to go through a series of simulations. To get me to move on most times its a simple or easy fix but this time is going to be a bear." Antos thought to Mickey. "Am I going the right way??" as Antos stopped and looked around for them a moment before he started to walk again slower now. Antos stopped as he saw a glimmer or shimmer. He focused on something off in the distance as he started to see the full effect of complexity of space around him was now. "WOW!!! Antos jaw dropped in awe. Antos looked down to make sure he did not put a hole in the ship.


"You're almost there, i can sense you close to the dish. Just be-careful. Space has known to play tricks on the mind but it's magnificent beauty can really leave you breathtaking, of it's awe and wonder." Mickey smiled as he and Aladdin just smiled and looked out into space with the beauty of it just breathtaking.

"Yea one wrong step and that's the end of everything." Antos thought with concern. "Pleasant thoughts! Pleasant thoughts?" He repeated as he finally saw them and moved closer. so he could lock down himself with a tether line. "you definitely got me here?" He thought some more. He kept his eyes on the horizon of the ship. "This could be a romantic spot other then the fact there is no air out here." He thought as he clamped himself to an access handle.

"Romantic spot, i never thought of it that way." Mickey chuckled as he saw Antos arrive, it was good to see his friend out here while watching the ship at warp speed with the passing stars and all that. Aladdin looked up and smiled at him. "Hi, Doc!" Aladdin said nicely to the man.

"Hello Mickey! Romance is a good thing." He said with a soft smile. "Hello Aladdin!" He said kindly as he could.

"I told the chief of security where i was and were i will be. Besides out here it's our playground. My playground, Aladdin and i were talking about the Old Enterprise. Dreams of standing on that old ship again, before we arrived we had visited the Enterprise-A. It was a thing of beauty being on that ship, but one day Antos maybe if time permits it and the universe as well my friend we might go to the Mutara Sector, just for the helluva it besides. I think in my other life i saw the old Enterprise and me and Aladdin were on her." Mickey said to his friend.

"I am glad you too are getting along." Antos commented with a sigh. "The enterprise did have a lot of history around her." Antos commented."She was a fine ship and had a great lines in that era.

Mickey just felt an exhilaration for the old Enterprise. That ship was one that Mickey could talk about for hours it was his one moment that kept him going and also at the same time one of the reasons he joined starfleet. Mickey, had to take a moment to recompose his thoughts as he thought carefully then he got the words out he needed to say. "The Enterprise, oh........... I can tell you so many reasons. She was one in a million and one in a billion. The Enterprise, she was the first ship to bare the registry NCC-1701 and one of the greatest ships i think. That forty year old ship, she was the grand ole lady of the twenty third century, one of those ships i imagine and envision being on, that's why i kept her in my memory palace the bridge i mean. She lived from May 5th 2245 all the way to the very end, May 6th 2285. The only thing i will never understand is why we didn't go back" Mickey said as he gave his dog a hug even though he was in his space suit he still hugged him anyways with Aladdin just hugging him as well.

Antos stood there knowing more then he let on about the enterprise and her crew. He felt out of place now. "Maybe i should let you enjoy this alone." Antos commented quickly to them. "There is no real purpose for me to be here.you have everything under control."

"Antos, stay out here with me, just enjoy the view of space. One things for certain i never really knew how peaceful it was out here I've never had a chance to enjoy this but please don't go" Mickey looked at him he needed the man's friendship right now.

Antos had turned away from them briefly but turned around to them both. He felt that Mickey needed him there but was not sure why. "Very Well Mickey!" Antos commented softly giving in he did not want to have anymore fights or anything close to them at this point. As he took a seat by Mickey. As he looked out at the horizon. Antos let out a small sigh hoping that mickey did not hear it but he knew that Aladdin did. "So cosmic thoughts?" Antos commented casually and with a small wavering smile.

Mickey just smiled, he thought one of thing to talk about. He pointed out most of the galaxy and pointed at some spots where the Alpha Quadrant would be at. "Well, Antos." Mickey pointed at the right side of the sky of the galaxy. He then came to why he aimed for that direction. "Well.... In that area as i look far beyond the reaches of the Beta Quadrant, my friend in that section of the galaxy twenty thousand light years away, lies the Mutara Sector. Many ordeals happened in that sector. Especially the first encounter of Khan Noonien Singh. That side of the Galaxy is most famous for everything, especially that ship. The only thing that bothers me doctor, why didn't we go back to go look for her. I just have this feeling in my gut that Enterprise is still there in the Mutara Sector, just waiting to be rescued." Mickey looked up at his friend.

Antos sat there and listened to Mickey as a friend and a counselor. "Well most think it would be a fruitless trip to go majority think that the enterprise is gone. nothing but atoms and dust maybe a bit of antimatter." Antos said calmly to Mickey but I do believe that is a possibility that the ship could still be there after all this time. Most are not willing on going on a fool hardy mission." Antos commented quickly. "Even a remote chance is sometimes worth the chance."

"It's all a crazy idea, but what if the ship is still out there, Doc? I mean it would be an incredible historical find" Aladdin said as well looking at the doctor

"I agree the idea is a bit crazy but most ideas come with surprises. If the ship is found I agree that would be a major historical find." Antos commented quietly to Mickey and Aladdin. as he gave a small smile.

"It would be a day long remember, my friend" Mickey just smiled. "What would you do if the remote chance in hell, she was out there? We bring her back to Starfleet for the restoration project of a lifetime, what would you do?" Mickey looked on his friend wondering what would he do?

Antos knew what Mickey was feeling and he knew from him joining. "Well if I had time off I would Charter a Runabout or Shuttle and during some vacation time go and try and find her." Antos said calmly to him. or Buy an old shuttle and restore her and use her as your trip vessel. This way she can be customized for what you need." Antos said with a smile smile. He knew that Mickey liked the idea.

"Oh, one other thing. Personal favor, what's your opinion of Captain Sinclair, i find her to be an interesting person. I asked her to join me for dinner when things calm down. But no romantic monkey business. Because, i just don't want to egg her on then she kick my ass. Besides, rudeness is an epidemic my friend. Plus, i also wonder how she will react to the universal translator for Aladdin" Mickey asked the doctors opinion. "Yeah, i am a good dog, Antos. But i don't want her to be frighten that i can talk" Aladdin just looked down but looked up at his two friends

"Captain Sinclair from what I have read of her career She is a strong and capable officer strong in her convictions and is not afraid to stand up for the little guys." Antos commented calmly to him. He turned away and looked at the universe some more. "As for you Aladdin I believe she would find you amazing as I we can get a truly unique prospective from you with it being open and honest and unbiased as well" Antos did his best to make sure it was a true compliment.

"Thanks, Antos. Very kind of you" Aladdin smiled and just retook the view of the universe.

"Doctor, what do you say we just sit out here and just partake in the view. The bridge viewscreen is nice, but... What the insides of the ship doesn't have is what is out here. So why don't we sit out here for a few hours and just partake the view?" Mickey said nicely to his friend. "an old shuttle would seem nice to the trip to the Mutara sector, if we do return to Alpha quadrant one day" Mickey thought to himself knowing antos heard.

"Sounds fine to me!" Antos commented with a small smile. As he sat there enjoying the view with two great friends. He was glad he made such good friends maybe someday he will try to move past the broken.
