Sensing danger

Mission: Commanding the Elements
Location: Outside the ship near the deflector dish
Timeline: Backpost during when Aladdin and Mickey where outside the ship

The U.S.S. Victory, a sovereign class vessel was on her way for the mission. But during the traveling were two specs of dust on her hull just sitting outside the vessel. Operations officer, Mickey McClane, and Acting Ensign Aladdin. The two officers, where outside the ship just sitting down and enjoying the view while en-route to the mission but the unusual feelings of this mission.

"Mickey, i can't help when we get there. That the Kobiyashi Maru, will rear it's ugly head. This is not going to be an easy one." Aladdin the dog said as he kept looking outward sensing the future. He was a dog and his keen dog sense made him usually right.

"Boy, when you get those phases, your right. Though i hope and pray we beat the no-win scenario on this one." Mickey said as he kept looking on-ward waiting for the adventure to happen.

"Mick, i sense that it will be UN-avoidable. You have to believe it sometimes the first duty is to the ship. I know those are human beings down there but sometimes our first duty for the greater good, is to the ship. Aladdin looked at him

"Al, i hope for the sake of argument, it doesn't come to that because i don't want peoples lives to be lost" Mickey continued to look at him knowing some part of him was right.

"Mickey, we can't prevent death it is a natural part of life. Eventually, i will die too so will you. We only live once but let's make a difference" Aladdin smiled at him

Mickey just grabbed his dog in his space suit and gave him a hug. "Well, i don't intend to die anytime soon mutt." Mickey just laughed and hugged his dog being careful.


"Good because if you do, i will haunt you till the ends of time" Aladdin looked up at him then the two resumed just enjoying the view of outer space.

It was indeed a cheerful moment between the two friends but only time will tell whether or not the mission will succeed but hoping it doesn't come to the kobiyashi maru scenario.
