Informing the superiors

Mission: Of Machines and Men
Location: Conference Room, USS Victory

Elijah leant against his desk as he examined the readings from the away team. The Captain was in a conference call with Starfleet Command and the Holographic avatars of his superiors and the relevant bodies appeared.

"So all in our final counts we estimate a total of 1.3 million stasis pods." Elijah said reading the numbers. "We also believe some of them have been here for centuries or more."

"Well that's not going to be an easy mission to try and undertake, we will need to inform relevant governments and such." Adirmal Harrison said as the avatar flickered. "As well as muster up resources."

"Salvation is proceeding at Warp 7 as we speak, we should be on station in 13 hours." Captain S'resh commented as the Andorian looked around. "But even then we will need help to deal with it all."

"Victory is staying in the local system whilst we undergo repairs and restore secondary and tertiary systems, but right now we can't be of much help save from providing security and marines." Elijah responded to the others. The old girl had taken a bit of a stumble when she tried to enter the power grid.

"Alright Captain." Harrison nodded. "I can have USS Montreal and the Liverpool diverted from Starbase 665 and meet you there." Harrison said as the short thin haired Admiral made notes.

"That still only leaves us with four Ships." S'resh said sighing. "With the recent skirmishes in the Colonies with the Jennarri we are short of medical ships."

Elijah pondered for a moment. "I have a friend in the Corps of Engineers working in System Orios Charlie, he has at least 4 Sabre Class Ships working to restore the Colonies at Black Rain I can persuade him to lend a hand."

"Do what you have to do." Admiral Harriosn said. "Make no mistake people this won't be easy to achieve but then again we aren't in easy times, I'll speak to the Admiralty and see what they can do but for now focus on doing what you can."

With that said the interface then stopped and it left Elijah alone in the Conference Room. He just got main power back online and his Senior Officers back from the planet and now they were to get stuck into helping those in the pods. It was just another day on the frontier.
