Visiting Sickbay

With a padd in hand, Wyatt Cadwell slowly made his way down the main curved corridor of deck eight, which housed the primary sickbay ward. This part of a new assignment wasn't horrible by any stretch, but it was just... mundane and tedious. It meant he had to take time out of his day to complete things like the on board physical and the psych eval. However, it was best just to get it out of the way and done with.

Coming upon sickbay, the doors parted with a soft hydraulic hiss, and he stepped into the main ward to find it empty. Odd, he thought to himself as his feet carried him forward. "Hello?" He called out, "is anyone here?"

"I am Here! Be out in a sec!" A voice was heard from the back area of sickbay. as Antos placed the last of the medkits back into storage. "Please take a seat!" as the disembodied voice got louder as he approached the door. as he passed through them the door closed behind him and locked. "I Was putting away the final medical supplies. I am Dr. Antos Rittan! What can I do for you Lieutenant?" Antos said with a present smile.

"Pleased to meet you doctor," Wyatt said as he handed over the padd he was carrying over to the doctor. "I'm Wyatt Cadwell, I'm here to take care of my physical," he said. "I'm a recent transfer." He hoped onto the bio bed, to await further scans.

"very good! Mr. Cadwell!" Antos said with a polite smile as he took his records and downloaded them into the main computer. as he activated the main monitor as it started to gather vitals and other details from the overhead cluster. As he pulled out his tricorder and started scanning from head to toe several times. "I believe you are in the science department?" Antos inquired as he attempted to make small talk.

"I am," Wyatt said, "I'm the new Chief Science Officer." He sat there, his blue eyes rolling up and down as the tricorder rose and fell slowly.

"You seem tense Mr Cadwell?" as he noticed him following the scanner up and down as he scanned as he moved over to the monitor to make the scans were going to the terminal. as he tapped a few keys. "everything looks perfect! Inside and out!" Antos commented quickly as he turned around. "Your cleared for this part of the testing I guess you get to see the new counselor?" Antos said with a kind smile. "welcome aboard Lieutenant Wyatt Cadwell."

Wyatt wasn't actually nervous, his mother was a doctor so none of this was unusual to him. For whatever reason, for as far back as he could remember, he would follow the medical tricorder with his gaze. It was a habit that didn't break so easily.

"Thank you doctor," Wyatt said as he slid off the bio bed and pulled himself up to his full height of six feet. "I appreciate your time, and I look forward to working with you."

"The honor was all mine!" Antos said with a smile. "Same here."

Wyatt shared in the smile. "Well, I hope to see you around, doctor. I'm always up for making new friends."

"Same here! Its always nice to have a new friend." Antos said kindly to him. "See ya around."

"See you around," Wyatt said, a slight nod followed. He once again offered the doctor a soft smile and exited the sickbay.
