Checking up on the bridge

Mission: Commanding the Elements
Location: Operations office/ Main Bridge
Timeline: After when the ship left orbit.

Mickey McClane, who kept monitoring everything just felt a sudden shift. "Aladdin, i think we left orbit." Mickey looked at his dog.

"I sense it too. But, something must be going on. But, we don't know as we aren't on the bridge. I think it would be best if you stood here while i go up to the bridge." Aladdin said to his friend nicely as Mickey replicated some lemon tea and Aladdin left.

"Just don't be too long" Mickey said as Aladdin ran to the turbolift.

Acting Ensign Aladdin, the loyal Black Labrador ran to his heart content as he knew the ship was on red alert Bertrand, must have had good reason as he was the Acting C/O Aladdin arrived at the turbo lift and the doors opened and he ran in.

"Deck one" Aladdin said as he sat down and the lift sent him to where he was going.

"It must have been real bad, if it was that serious." Aladdin thought to himself. Hopefully Bertrand would talk to him, and he was hoping that there wouldn't be any incident from the fact Mickey put the Operations Station on computer control.

"Oh boy, this will be a busy day" Aladdin said as he arrived on the bridge. Aladdin then sat down looking on Commander Bertrand.

The bridge was strangely silent and the tension in the air was almost palpable to the canine senses. The Comma... acting Captain glanced sideways, noticing the Dog.

"You are not at your post, ensign. You are supposed to be maintaining security monitoring on Lt McClane."

"Actually, Lieutenant McClane. Sent me up here. He's all right, one of the operations officers is with him. We know what happened." Aladdin cut himself off and noted into the conference room. He stood there hoping the Acting Captain would follow.

Bertrand stood and gestured to the Ca... Damn, HIS ready room, "Valeria, you have the bridge. I will be three minutes. Keep me updated of anything new."

He led the dog quickly into the ready room but did not take a seat, "Make it quick."

"So, what happened? Mickey had to confine himself because he had almost had a mental breakdown that's why he had to do what he had to do. But what happened?" Aladdin asked the commander nicely.

"We are responding to a priority distress call for evacuation in the Kellat system. That means we did not complete the evacuation of Haven. If Mickey wants to be helpful again he can get down to Cargo Bay 4 and set up a medical triage, or just keep the hell out of my way."

Aladdin could tell the decision to leave the away teams behind was weighing heavily on the man, and that he was responding in the way he always did when he was emotional; brash and harsh to everyone around him. But it was not personal.

"If that is it, you are dismissed. I have work to do," Bertrand finished, making to move back out to the Bridge.

"I'm Sorry, that happened. But, I'll tell Mickey what happened what we have to do. Will leave you be" Aladdin said nicely as he left to go back to Mickey's Quarters

Aladdin, came back in and told Mickey what happened. "Damn, well what does he want me to do?" Mickey asked his dog. "Go to Cargo Bay four and help set up the medical triage. Or just keep the hell out of his way." Aladdin said to him.

"Well, it's time to stop feeling sorry for myself." Mickey said as he gulped down the last of his tea. "Computer, restore full operational control to the the main bridge" Mickey ordered as the computer beeped doing what it was told.

"Come on, Aladdin. To Cargo Bay Four" Mickey Said as he left with his dog but before they head down he looked at the camera. "I'm Back, Commander" Mickey said as the two went back to duty setting up the Triage.
