Mission:
Now Boarding.......
Location: Sickbay Main Area
Elijah had been around all of the Ship and had yet to see Sickbay or meet his new Medical Officer. The Commander left his Ready Room and headed down to Sickbay. Somewhere he hoped to not be very often.....
He had been reading up on his new CMO and his record seemed fairly straightforward, nothing seemed too out of place at all. Elijah walked down the hallway and into Sickbay. "Hello?"
Antos was finishing off putting the odd supplies away in the supply room in the back. He heard a voice as he felt someone enter the medical bay."I will be right out!" as he placed the final item and placed the empty container into the replicator for recycling. He came out the open door to see the captain standing there. "Well hello there captain I am sorry I haven't met you on the bridge sir! I was just finishing off the stuff that was in storage that needed put away.SIR!" as he moved closer. "Lets do this properly then shall we. "Lieutenant Antos Rittan Reporting for duty sir!" He placed a polite smile on as he had his hand out to shake the captains hand.
"Commander Elijah MIchaels." Eli said accepting the handshake and giving him a smile in return. "I trust that you are settling in well Doctor?" He asked looking around Sickbay.
"Nice to meet you sir! As for sickbay I am the only on here other then the emh. I am settling in quite well sir! other then lack of personnel. But I am not complaining mind you. I had to deal with much less sir." Antos said with a returned smile. "Is this a social call or do you need something checked out sir!?"
"Merely just a Social Call." Elijah smiled at him. "Checking out my new Ship."
"Glad to here Captain!" Antos said kindly to him. "If you need anything Captain let me know?" The doctor said quickly. "I am also counselor trained just in case there is no counselor on board."
"That is handy to know, I have been reading your file and it seems like you are more than suited to any Medical Role on the Ship." Elijah chuckled. Versatility is good and it certainly couldn't hurt to have people like that onboard.
"I agree there captain! Cross trained personnel are always a great asset to have just in case someone is down and out or dead." Antos said quickly to the captain. "I know you got other things to check out I dont want to keep you?"
Elijah nodded. "That is true, goodbye for now Doctor." He said before leaving the Medical Officer with his work.
