The Ambassadors

Mission: Vipers and Scoundrels
Location: Cardassian Freightor

Before they transported down to the ship Mickey had to talk about Aladdin.

"Bertrand, I got a bad feeling when we get down there. They're going to wonder why Aladdin has the power to speak thanks to Morolith's collar. I studied it some more and thankfully it has a shut off switch." Mickey said to his commanding officer.

Bertrand was surprised, but agreed, "Shut it off, then. Last thing I want to be doing is explaining talking animals to Ambassadors. I shudder what to think the Cardassians will do with that tech as well. -

"I agree, I don't want them to know my secret. Bertrand would you do the honor's the third switch left from the camera will turn it off for now" Aladdin asked the commander nicely on where the off switch is.

Bertrand found the switch and clicked it. They then took their place with the others on the Pad.

The blue glow passed and the Away team found themselves in a large cargo bay on the Cargo transporter pad. Three Cardassians were facing off against them. One held a Cardassian rifle in a 'not quite casual, not quite threatening' manner that marked a security officer. The remaining one who was not using the transporter controls stepped forward.

"Greetings, Captain. I am Iver, Captain of this excuse for a ship. Thank you for coming so promptly. This is my First Oofficer, Impac," He pointed to the gun wielding Cardassian.

"Elijah Michaels, And this is my Second Officer Commander Cuprum." The Captain said with a polite nod to the Cardasssian out of courtesy. "I understand you are having engine troubles? My Chief Engineer and my Chief of Operations are here to assist in what ways they can."

The Cardassian Captain nodded. "Thank you Captain, this Ship isn't exactly a Keldon or Galor so Maintance isn't top of Central Commands priority."

Elijah nodded. "Well put them to work and we can get you rolling." His attention turned to Impac. "Though I don't think he needs to be so defensive." He motioned to Impac.

"Ready and Willing Captain" Mickey said to the captain

Impac's face didn't change, but the captain spoke for him, "Let's say, he hasn't been given much reason to trust the generous nature of the Federation. If you will walk with me Captain, I will introduce you to our other guests, while Karlor here takes your attendants down to engineering."

"With your permission, sir," Bertrand jumped in, "I think Cor, Mikey and Aladdin will be fine with me. I think the Doctor and Lt Kilbane should come with you."

"Agreed." Elijah said with a nod. "Lieutenants, looks like you're with me. He said to Kilbane and Hood.

Kevin nodded his head in acknowledgement.
