a small reunion of sorts

Mission: Debts to be settled......
Location: Engineering.
Timeline: After ten-forward

Mickey heard that Zachary Chandler, a man he had served with before was on this ship but he had to see it to believe it because the last time he was on the Jupiter station he had ran into there. He was wondering if it was the same man.

"Cool Aladdin, at least we now have a familiar face to see i hope he is down there right now" Mickey looked down at Aladdin with him looking up as they took a long walk down the familiar corridor's of the ship. Mickey was familiar with the sovereign class vessels as he arrived in engineering.

"Ensign Chandler?" Mickey called out to him with Aladdin by his side looking at the off-line warp core wondering if it is the same man from before.

Zack looked over and smiled. "Mickey!" He greeted warmly and came over to shake the man's hand. "How are you doing? Are you here on the Victory?"

Mickey shook the mans hand smiled back. "Last time i heard you were at the academy you graduated as a full Ensign. Congratulations. i assume you remember Aladdin" Mickey said as Aladdin spoke to say hello to the man.

"I do." Zack smiled, and reached down to pet the dog. "Hope you cleared him through the CEO, I don't want to be getting dog hair out of the isolinear array." He quipped good naturedly.

"Oh, Don't worry Zach." Mickey chuckled. "I won't tell if you don't I mean we are off duty. So what's new with you man?" Mickey asked the man nicely.

"You might be, but I'm not. But mum's the word." Zack grinned. "Nothing much, glad to finally be graduated and posted. Took a little longer than I wanted, but couldn't ask for a better spot."

"Man, you look well. I thought by now you would be a Commander on your own ship in engineering?" Mickey was surprised to see his pal starting from the ground up. "But hey you gotta start somewhere?" Mickey smiled.

Zack chuckled. "Well, I probably could have done that, or similar, if I wanted to flash the last name around, but I'd rather do it on my own. Still in operations?"

"Oh yeah, I know when we get started that it will be my job to keep this ship and her systems from going out of alignment. Though, I hope that if the chief engineer and I don't butt heads besides I plan on getting along with everyone. But for the chief if any systems are damaged i'll have to throw in a few bypass codes to keep her alive. My goal is the safety of this ship and crew I mean isn't that everyone's goal?" Mickey said to his comrade nicely

"You sound like a text book mickey." Zack grinned. "The CEO is a good guy, I don't think you'll butt heads, and it's a good goal, a great goal. But I'd settle for getting laid."

Mickey just couldn't help but flat out laugh as he grabbed a rail and laid on the floor of the engine room laughing out loud. "I forgot what a ham you are!!!!" Mickey just flat out laughed but got up and recomposed himself. "Now, as for the textbook principles of mine. I learned from the best, which is the historical documents of the U.S.S. Enterprise crew. I would give anything just to meet them all" Mickey said as he remembered those stories of that crew.

Zack didn't hold quite the fascination to that old crew as Mickey did, though he'd learned from Scotty just as much as every engineer had. But he smiled and nodded anyway.

Aladdin was on high alert as he probably sensed the chief engineer coming as he brushed on Mickey and Zack's leg.

"Oh boy, i think we better get the hell out of here before he comes in and see's Al. I am going to go down to the Marine Barracks, and introduce our-self's to them" Mickey then offered his hand again. "It was good to see you Zach, glad to know there is a familiar face.

Zack shook the offered hand again. "Take care Mickey, see ya around."
