Bridge Crew Briefing.

Mission: Vipers and Scoundrels
Location: Bridge, USS Victory.

Elijah stepped back onto the Bridge of the Victory following the 'exchange' with the Ambassadors. He now had an Away Mission to prepare for.

"Mickey, send a message to the Cardassian Central Command." Elijahsaid taking his seat. "Tell them we have something that may aid in their anti piracy operations."

"Aye, Sir. Sending now" Mickey transmitted the message.

"Valeria, can you update me on the Star Charts around Nomad Station?" The Captain asked turning his Chair to the Science Station. "Scientific Anomalies, Gravametric Distortions and such?"

The rabbitess tapped a few keys on her console, "Compiling a list, sir." and a few moments later, "An asteroid cluster of unusual density was reported in the region between our current location and Nomad Station, give or take a light hour. It isn't expected to interfere with stellar navigation, though it may cause false sensor readings until it clears the area. It is expected to vacate the region within the next six to seven days." she paused, "The Cygnus observatory cataloged a new pulsar roughly seven hundred and fifty light years from Nomad Station's current position. The gravitic waveform, and the pulse of neutron mass from the formation are expected to reach Nomad Station within the next fifteen years. Unless we approach from the angle that the waveform is approaching from, it shouldn't interfere in the slightest with our operations. I'll upload the approach angles to avoid into the helm systems."

"There are no other events of significance on record." she reported. "Our star charts have already been updated to take the gravity nudge of the pulsar's birth into account."

The Captain focused his attention to Helm. "Lieutenant, I would like to to report to the Captains Yacht, Commander Cordale and Commander Cuprum will have need of you." Elijah said with a nod to his Conn Officer. "Then when you are finished report back to the Conference Room."

Satele nodded, "understood sir" she said, handing over her station to another officer before making her way off the bridge.

"Mickey, I need you to help Cor modify the Trafalgar for an Away Mission, I trust you have a paint brush spare?" The Captain smirked.

"Yes, Sir. Captain. I also have a brush to spare. Can i paint it basic black?" Mickey smirked at the captain.

"Go crazy." Elijah commented.

"Come Aladdin, it's time to get our hands dirty" Mickey said as he was prepared to paint

"Indeed" Aladdin said as he made sure to stay away from the paint fumes

Elijah sat back in his chair and let out a sigh. "Do you ever remember the time Starfleet were explorers?" He asked Michelle in the chair next to him as the Bridge got a little quieter.

Michelle chuckled a bit. "For a brief few weeks back when I was an Ensign. Otherwise, it seems we're doing less of that and more covering our butts."

"What do you think Counselor?" Elijah asked the quiet woman sat to his left.

"We still are," she replied "perhaps Starfleet is saving something just for us. There is the holodeck Captain if you feel you need a change."

"To a sense, we still are explorers." Valeria said from her station, "It's just that rather then exploring new corners of the galaxy, we're exploring new social interactions. Hardly the same as finding a new planet or moon, I understand, but sometimes putting two people in the same room to see who speaks first can be quite fascinating."

With a nod. "I can't argue with that Lieutenant." Elijah said with a chuckle.

"Captain, can i take the camera off now? Mickey, has been behaving and he is no longer a danger to himself. I'll still be with him but can he be off camera duty or do i still need to do it for now sir?" Aladdin the dog asked the captain nicely

The Captain hesitated for a moment but reluctantly agreed. "Very well but no more funny business from this."

"Aladdin, will take it off after the mission's over. Right now, we need to keep an eye on on stuff." Mickey said to his dog.

"Agreed, Mick" Aladdin just sat in attention

By now the Crew had been given orders and were in the preparation phase. Elijah sat in his chair examining the data and information. They were going to be at serious risk.
